Swimathon Success!

A huge thank you to Thornbury Rotary for organizing the Swimarathon at Thornbury Leisure Centre during the weekend of 6 – 8th March. A great deal of work was involved and much appreciated by all.

There was a fantastic atmosphere around the pool with the members of the Panache Steel band led by Gill Holmes playing continually throughout the event, setting a great mood for the teams and supporters alike.  BUST had two teams taking part comprising BUST committee members, friends, consultants and admin staff from the Breast Care Centre: Simon Cawthorn, Lexi Brooking, Lois Cartwight, Susan Grant, Emma Nichols, Ineta Vecmuktane, James Cook, Michelle Mullen, Andrew Mullen, Joshua Pitt, Tina Thornton and Jane Heaton.
 
Everyone entered the event in great spirits and enthusiasm, clocking up over 230 laps between them. Well done all!
